DESCRIPTION
Have you ever wanted to increase your leg flexibility but don’t know where to start? Perhaps you already have your splits but want to work on strengthening your lines while inverted or in the air? In this split series we will go over a variety of exercises to help you work towards lengthening your legs. Using Anya's newly developed Kintortion Method you will not only learn how to target specific muscles using active flexibility exercises, but also learn what muscles are involved in helping you achieve your split goals.

PREREQUISITES
Intermediate Level. Need to have or be working on front, straddle and middle splits.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
Form fitting attire that show your lines. Please no booty shorts or baggy pants.

INSTRUCTOR BIO
Anya Shevelyuk grew up training a classical ballet until the age of 19. After retiring from dance she began new challenging journey with contortion and aerial training at the age of 22. During this time Anya also took up studies in yoga in addition to obtaining a degree in Exercises Science with an emphasis in Health and Fitness.
In 2013 Anya joined Voler: Thieves of Flight, an aerial performance ensemble; traveling, performing and teaching acrobatics. In late 2014 she relocated to Vegas to further her career as a performer and coach. Anya has performed at some of the best Night Clubs Las Vegas has to offer such as: Omnia, Light, Hakkasan, XS, Drai's and 1 Oak. She has also performed as larger corporations from EDM Festivals, Cedar Theme Parks to smaller events including various Burlesque Productions, the International Contortion Convention, as well as private events.
In 2016, Anya was certified to exclusively teach a newly invented contortion technique founded by Otgo Waller, under the Flexible Body Art training program. In addition, after several years of extensive flexibility experience, Anya has created her own unique flexibility program, Kintortion. The Kintortion method combines the art of contortion, gymnastics, Pilates, scientific physiology, strength training and yoga to help others achieve their flexibility through active exercises. These days you can find Anya internationally teaching workshops, retreats, conventions, expos, festivals, and private sessions in-person and online.
