Rope Intermediate I

Aerial Rope aka Corde Lisse is a vertical apparatus that captures attention for its use of grip strength and dynamic movements. Rope Intermediate classes are for the intermediate-level vertical aerialists looking to learn strength based skills, poses and endurance learned through monthly 2-4 minute choreographed sequences. In this class students will learn a new sequence each month focusing on the building blocks of rope gaining comfort and strength in grip, Hanging technique, Inversions and endurance. This class will focus on theory, technique and transitions of climbs, wraps, drops and various poses eventually gaining confidence to create some pretty cool sequences on your own.”

Prerequisites include:
This class is taught on a monthly cycle. Please plan to attend beginning the first week of the month as class material is accumulative.

Silks intermediate I + advanced beginner must be proficient in basic and Russian climbs on silk, comfortable inverting multiple times throughout a 90 minute class, and able to hold a shoulder lock off and straight arm hang for 10 seconds from the pole each side. Advanced beginner must have approval to attend.
