Lyra - Intermediate I
**Instructor approval required to enroll in intermediate classes**
In Lyra Intermediate I class, you will learn how to mount, flip, pose, and bend on the aerial hoop, also known as "Lyra". The hoop is a beautiful apparatus that lends itself to amazing performances. However, don't be fooled by the professionals! It comes with its fair share of trials, tribulations, and bruises! You will surely be rewarded for your hard work on the hoop, though. This is the intermediate hoop class, students must be promoted by instructor before attending Lyra Intermediate I
Intermediate I classes are accumulative, each week builds to prepare you for the next. Attending class a minimum of once a week is required for safety and preparedness. If you have to miss a week, you will need to take a private lesson to catch up on the material. These can be split with friends! In some cases, making up a particular week is not required depending on the material in that lesson plan. First, talk to an instructor to check your options if you have to miss class for a week. If a make up can not be made, you will have to wait for the next unit to start to rejoin Intermediate I class. Some units have a halfway entry point to get you back on track.
Prerequisites Completion of the AerialCLT Fundamentals Course + Instructor permission to advance to Intermediate Class.
Cancellation policy You can cancel free of charge 24 hours prior to the start of enrolled class. After that time, a fee of $15 will be charged or a visit will be deducted from an applicable plan or pass.
